# in transit permit?

OK so i know alot of you guys buy cars out of state from private sellers and drive them back.
I also see on the nys dmv website that they have in transit permits for a car to be taken out of nys to where they will be registered
im trying to buy a car from maryland but i dont see anything like this on their website…
whats the best way to go about this?

are you buying the car there and bringing it back?
this is what you have to do… whenever you buy a car out of the area and will drive it back, you need to go to the DMV in the area where you’re buying the car, usually bring proof of insurance, title, bill of sale, etc… and they will issue the transport plates, i did it for the jetta in ontario
