# IngramMicro: anybody on here work there?

Not fired…no. I had work related surgery and they used that as an angle to fuck me out of 12 weeks severance pay (2 weeks plus 1 week for every year of employment).

Long story short, my recovery took longer than the 12 weeks FMLA job protection so I was vulnerable. My boss and the Sr. Director went to HR and fought for my job and were told to take a hike basically. So it had nothing to do with my performance. It had everything to do with $$$.

I do love shitting on Ingram…it’s fun, and they make it so easy. The reality is if not for Ingram I’d not have met the people I hang with and I wouldn’t have met my new boss, nor got this awesome job. Bottom line is they did what they did and while I’m annoyed at the rape of 12 weeks pay, I’m MUCH happier where I’m at now. 🙂

EVERYONE I know that has left or even been laid off loves their new jobs/companies. So I have to say the grass may not _always_ be greener, but in reguards to Ingram it probably will be.

Congrats Geehee. Mobile is one area that had/has almost guaranteed growth. Keep up the good work. 🙂
