I remember seeing in a magazine somewhere a blow-off valve that installed into charge piping like a coupler. It vented radially and operated in the same axis as the charge pipe.

Anyone know who makes it?

Thanks guys.

Found more info at [www.steedspeed.com](http://www.steedspeed.com)

> BENEFITS:
> 1, Easy installation in even the tightest location
>
> 2, Superior flow due to large port area around entire circumference of the charge air pipe.
>
> 3, Excellent sealing against boost pressure leakage because boosted air can’t apply pressure to the valve to force it open, unlike other designs which require adjustment for higher boost levels.
>
> The valve consists of a pipe which is slip fitted and sealed to the charge air pipes using high quality O-rings. This pipe is perforated with a ring of ports which are alternately covered or uncovered by means of a ring shaped piston which wraps around the pipe and is actuated by vacuum and boost pressure to open as soon as the throttle is closed.

Interesting but I wonder if it can be modified to recirculate the air somehow since my engine software would run rich

any mods to it to make it recircultate (some type of large collar), would negate any of its space benefits. youd be better off with a standard bov that a return pipe can be fitted to.

yes, but only the space benefits, the discharge action vs. loading direction benefit’s would still be there. However, that technology could be modified to something more suiting.
