The Innovative Tuning sponsored Honda R&D Americas cars did us proud once again. Their all new 2007 Civic Si which they just built to replace their aging RSX Type S scored big in its first appearance. You can’t beat taking first in class the first time out with a new car. :headbang: ![http://www.innovativetuning.com/images/uploads/HondaRally/07SiSTPR07Champagne.jpg](http://www.innovativetuning.com/images/uploads/HondaRally/07SiSTPR07Champagne.jpg) Honda R&Ds 99 Civic Si also made it through a treacherous STPR which left half the field with DNFs. They took 3rd place in G2, their new home, since they installed the Lexan rear window we got them, leaving some PGT class WRXs in their dust. ![http://www.innovativetuning.com/images/uploads/HondaRally/99SiSTPR07Back.jpg](http://www.innovativetuning.com/images/uploads/HondaRally/99SiSTPR07Back.jpg) The GNM team unfortunately got swallowed up by the DNF bug after making contact with a rock half way through the day. They were looking strong as they continue with some teething in the new car and their new class (open). Good for the R+D guys. Especially considering they were 1 of 2 entrants in Production and the other team DNF’d 😛 Hopefully they get more competition. Seems like this year is dwindling in participation. They have been the only Honda guys to keep one together through a rally :tup: to them
