Not starting nothing but you have to have defrosters to legally pass inspection so if the blower motor doesn’t work then it will not pass . I agree most people don’t check that and if you have a car that doesn’t have them hooked up then I would be pretty shure you take it to someone you know if you don’t do it yourself.
