# inspections, who does them here?

My rx8 needs tires pretty bad but im trying to sell it and money is tight these days, so i dont want to invest in them if i dont have to. Are there any mechanics around here that might overlook low tire tread to pass the car for me?

good luck with that. Thats the biggest safety issue since it’s the only thing on the road. fyi they only need to be 2/32nds

See if you can swap some wheels with passable tread with a friend, then get the car inspected and swap them back.
