# Insuring a RHD.  Anyone try lately?

Anyone try insuring a right hand drive car lately that is under 25 years old.

I just called Hagerty’s, Silver Wheels and Aviva and none of them will accept any new policies.

I hear you can go to Facility still but they want thousands of dollars per year.

So RX7, Supra, Skyline, Silvia owners…where are you going?

Could really use some help here.

I had the same issues, I have to wait until my driving record clears up…10 months…

I’ll probably end up insuring as a second vehicle, leave it as fire/theft, and then call and transfer road going ins. on a day by day.

I apologized to my broker but also told her $7000 a year is outrageous… for a low power sedan.
