# Intake Manifold..Hone or Port and Polish?

Do the t3/t4 turbos come with an interal wastegate? I really want to bid on this EBay auction but it says nothing about a wastegate whether it’s internal or if I’m going to have to buy an external. turbo’s with internal wastegates have a little actuator on the side, like this…

from the pictures i do not see an internal gate on the turbo, or do i see a place for an external gate on the manifold… that leads me to believe you will not get what you pay for on this ebay auction

You don’t think it’s worth it?

Edit-That’s part of the reason I posted up the link. I wanted to see if it checked out with people who know a lot more than me. To me, it seemed liek a good price considering it included the blow off valve, manifold, and pipes. How much would an external wastegate cost about?

ok I just priced some wastegates and most of the ones I saw on EBay were like 300-400, that’s def. not worth it in my opinion then.
