has anyone heard of this garbage…? it installs a ghost dailer on your machine and then dials a 900 number and charges you $20 a minute… some girl at work got :owned: by it… ---

heard of that stuff a couple of years ago, but have never had any problems with it being on any of my machines. ---

I dnon’t see how it would dial out through my network card(s) :dunno: I didn’t realize PCs still had modems 🤣 ---

exaclty… she asked me and i said that the only modem i use is to dial into a nortel system from the early 80’s. i told her i forgot aobut dial up ISP’s but appearently this is an issue with dial up users… just putting it out there… ---
