is there a programs where i can tell what it using my internet? sometimes something randomly starts using the internet after a while, usually when i am on xbox live or at least thats when i notice it the most cause i start lagging and i have to restart the computer for it to stop. disconnection via the chord does not work cause when i plug it back in, it starts back up. ---

you leave your pc on when you play? if so try turning it off, that may help… sometimes certain un-wanted processes (mostly spyware and BS) can pop up and start stealing resources causing lag unless its a wireless router, the only things running off of it are what you have plugged in. If it is wireless, you may have a suspect neighbor ---

um. scan for malware using multipal software vendors. open a command prompt and run a netstat -a to see open connections (however, if you have a realllly bad piece of malware, it will intercept the netstat command and return what it wants you to see) ---

u can also pop open the task manager and goto the networking tab, or leave it open for piece of mind to what’s going on ---
