# internet problems

i just bought a new lenveno laptop, model C200. It has theb uilt in wireless card, like most new computers do. Thats how I got my computer hooked up through the internet, using a netgear router about 3 years old. Well, I have done all the window updates, and turned off the fire wall, and have cookies set on medium. My problem is that I can bring all websites I type in, I can bring up. Its when I click on a thread or a link, my computer will be real slow, or not bring it up at all. i have called lenovo and they were no help. And body have on suggestions? I use it for job hunting and a lot of links won;t pop up so I can apply :mad:

Sounds like ad blocking software. Anything installed?
Set everything to defaults in internet options.

If there is no problem with the connection itself. Try
Tools -\> Internet Options -\> Programs -\> Reset Web settings.
This would only apply if you have the same issue on other connections.

ok, its the built in wireless card. And i don’t have a thing for reseting internet options. I have exploer 7
