# Intro from Rochester

Whats up guys, been a member here for a while but never really made one of these posts, now that my car is pretty much done i figured id make one to say whats up
A little about me: Names Joe, i live in Rochester NY, ive owned this car for quite some time and have had a few different turbo setups in it over the years starting back in the days of the AFC hack all the way up to now, went to school in rochester for Toyota/lexus and work at a local [Acura](http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2262150#) dealership playing with them all day. Started school at suny oswego this fall to become an automotive teacher.
The Car:
1990 std hatch
Engine:d16y8 fully rebuilt by me with cp pistons/eagle rods/honda mains/acl rods, tune on ectune on a straight t3 .42 .48 by dave blundell and xenocron. the car put down 265whp 245whtq @ 20 lbs, car runs strong and pulls good, ran it once at the track last year on street [tires](http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2262150#), car went 13.5 @ 115 with a 2.6 60’, was having some bogging issues trying out the 2 step ectunes got built in to it, hoping to get some lower Ets this year with that 2 step turned off and some slicks. possibly a slightly larger snail and more boost to make up into the 300s before i sell it but time will tell, but the cars fun as hell to drive now as it sits.
as for the exterior, its never really been a concern of mine. The shell is rust free but had a body kit on it when i got it hence now some of the parts are in bad shape/dont fit well. The flat black is rustoleum spray can, but now that the build is done i plan on tidying up a few little things that have been bugging me over the years
im no photographer but heres a few pics i took the first day out, spoiler has since been painted back to black after coming out like shit.

well ive had a few valves on the car over the years and i deffinatly like this the best, i had a bosch plastic one at first then a greddy type S and now the SSQ
it is actually a real ssq but the original case was cracked so i replaced it with a knockoff case, ive never had an experience with a knockoff ssq
under low boost the valve isn’t loud at all, doesn’t whistle just the gushing air sound. But let me tell you when you let out 20+ pounds outta that thing people will hear you comming for miles, high pitched whistle signature ssq sound, it can get annoying, but then again the noise just seems to annoy me in general after time to begin with.
