# Ion swap into SC2?

is it possible to swap an Ion redline or cobalt SS engine into a 93 SC2?
we were headin down route 50 in bridgeville today and seen a black SC2 flyin by pretty quick and heard a bov and extremely loud turbo whine. just wondering if you can swap those motors, maybe it was just one of those “blow off valve speakers” under the hood :kekegay:

yes but just thinking someone would go the route of just swaping the engines if it was easier.

and an Ion Redline has a supercharged motor, not turbo
It is a whole lotta work to swap one of those motors into a car that didn’t come with one to begin with.

Turbo’d redline? Yeah I;m aware of that too… but hes talking a turbo’d SC2 and Ions never came turbo’d

No Ive seen a black turbo’d SC2

The Turbo Redline would be DJT’s car
I know of an orange turbo older saturn around, but not a black one…

I’ve seen that car on 50 in carnegie before. i heard the same wicked loud bov and turbo whistle.
when i seen it though, it was loud as fuck but wasn’t getting out of it’s own way. it was kind of strange to see and hard to explain. probably couldn’t spool 1st gear
