I can say one thing for certain, T Mobile is no good in Upstate, I have a multiple number of friends who constantly complain about the coverage when I would have full service with either Vz or ATT. Especially out by Lebanon area.

I do not have full service at LVD with AT&T, maybe 1-2 bars at the actually track. More like full near Nassau.

I’ve been doing reading and it looks like HTC is releasing the Desire to the US in August, its a GSM/3G phone so hopefully on At&t. Pretty much the same phone as the EVO.

LOL! I’ve traveled the entire state, north, south, east and west with both servers, and ATT is the winner. Not a competition, just the way it is.

Im pretty sure service is 80% dependent on the phone itself. Wayne, our smart phones have less than optimal antenna design. I mean they have to make room for the GPS, Wifi and bluetooth radios :lol

I haven’t had much issue with my EVO on reception. I do have an issue getting good WiFi signal at work though. At home I get full bars, at work I used to get full bars with my Pre but only get 1 or 2 with my EVO.

I’ll stick with my rooted and over clocked Droid.

It’s version 1 of a phone. Every electronic device has some sort of issue on release. The EVO has the screen, light leakage, and battery. I have none of those issues though.

I can’t really fault Apple. Hardware wise, they make good stuff. I’m just not a fan of their OS’s.

Hardware wise they’re losing 3-4 bars of signal based on hand placement.

Even as a Verizon user, I fully agree.
