I iz an Iphoner now… I’ve got the Pandora app, I love it, but a few hours ago it stopped producing sound. The rest of the phone and other music apps play sound, but Pandora does not. It appears to be working properly (the music timer is moving), but no sound. I tried reinstalling the app, same thing. I also searched all over the app for a ‘mute’ that might be on, but found nothing. ---

Is you phone in silent mode? Little switch on the side there? I know it sounds stupid but I can’t tell you how many new iphone users have told me certain apps are not prodecuing sound or their phones are not ringing because they dident realize that little switch muted the phone. Some apps still will play over the speaker even if the phone is silent. Pandora I don’t belive is one of them. ---

See if theres Pandora in settings. i have a couple apps that have their own settings page in there ---

I also searched all over the app for a ‘mute’ that might be on, but found nothing. try iphone software update…worth a shot theres a 3.0.1 out or some shit… i got it last week or so. if nothing seems to work but thats the only app thats messed up…first try updating the app itself if that dont work start pandora, hit the top power button until you get the power off slide indicator, then hit both buttons top and on the face and hold them down together for like ten seconds and it will exit the program and kick you back to your main screen(like a force quit or task manager end task.). after that restart the app… if it still dont work power cycle the phone wait a few seconds after its actually off and power it back on and try using the ap one more time, after that i would try another ap that does the same thing… if it works use that app… or restore your phone to its origonal settings and start over… if you have LOTS of apps somtimes the phone needs to be restored… apple dude told me that at the store… i had like fucking over a hundred apps… and sometimes after you install an app it makes another one not work… its rare but it has been known to happen. ---

to fix the problem you need to go to the mall, buy a blackberry, never have any problems with it ---

Got a new phone out of it. ---

Benny was just saying he had an issue with the newest version of Pandora on his Curve, and had to go back to the previous version. I don’t remember what the problem was, but it looks like Pandora is just a POS. ---

Yeah it’s fucking gay. -Takes AT BEST 3x as long to load songs now. -will without warning lock up phone with the stupid spinny box -can not handle sending messages and loading songs at the same time -sucks ass compared to v1.0.0.0
