# iPod : How do I copy songs from an iPod to a new computer

does the shuffle show up in winamp under portables? if it shows up you should be able to drag and drop the songs either one at a time or by selecting artists or playlists… if winamp is not recognizing the shuffle as an ipod but as a removable drive you will have to update the frimware and there shouldnt be a problem… i just had to swap music from a nano to a shuffle doing this.

I lost my library in itunes.  
I have limited space on this laptop so I would download music, add it to itunes, sync my ipod, then delete the mp3’s but keep the info in the itunes library. Is there any way to just as more music to the ipod without having to copy the songs to my computer.  
ephpod isnt reading my ipod\_controls directory

nevermind, I figured it out. Add songs to itunes library. Highlight songs, drag and drop into ipod music
