the catch: 1) you need to get 5 referrals to do the same thing
This is the procedure you have to do.
1. sign up with a real hotmail account.
2. choose one of their offers (i chose the 1$ canadian tire one)
3. pay this 1$ using a legit credit card.
4. wait 4days for it to go into their system.
5. start telling people about it
6. cancel this 30day trail offer within 30days…lol if u don’t they charge you $17. And if you can’t get 5 referrals within this 30days…you can still cancel and still get the ipod nano if you get the 5 referrals before they notice you have cancelled.

my friend has gotten 3 ipod nanos from this. It is legit. You can read all the fine print and everything. I have done this and i have seen the $1 charge on my visa. If you do not understand the procedure, read the first link from this thread. Just trying to help the public by getting free stuff. I just need 2 more people which might be filled in for me already. So i’m trying to spread the news.

ok sorry…rephrase…not a gimmick…a marketing strategey.
well ya…if they say tehy will charge me $1…and they charge me $250 what is the pt of having visa security? their job is to make sure u don’t get charged anymore than you agree. i read all the agreements and etc…seems all legit to me
