lol @ iran being a democracy. Did you read the article about how they just shut down texting and, well, the entire internet to stop the world from seeing anti-government protests? How democratic. ---

Even if they do become able to build a nuclear weapon I doubt they would use it against us. I would hope they have enough self-preservation thought to really think about the retaliation before they push the button ---

Iran wouldn’t use it against us directly. They’d try to get it to terrorist / guerrilla groups like they got weapons into Iraq to kill American soldiers, or to Hamas through tunnels into the west-bank to kill Israelis. But Iran attacking the US and our interests isn’t the immediate problem. It’s a larger threat (perceived) to Israel. And if Israel thinks they’re threatened, they’re going to attack Iran. And if that happens we’ll be paying a bit more for gas… Instability in that region isn’t good for anyone at this point.
