I’m on the VBC - Slayer/Liberty/Victory. I work on Slayer and 80% of the base is water. Sure theres incoming, ieds, and stuff. but your inside the wire and are not allowed to go outside unless you have to work or your taking a convoy to get to your base. Other than that you are trapped in here. Biggest worries i have, is a stray round (there have been 50 cal rounds that have went through livings areas, incoming - not a common as it used to be from what i am told - its down to 1-2 times a month, and a young soldier driving his humee like a jackass. Other than that i feel safe. ---
