Did anybody watch/go to the race today? I caught some of it on TV, just enough to see that Eddie Cheever Jr. sucks at driving. First he almost knocked Danica Patrick out of the race (not clear who was really at fault on that one, though) but the worst was when he took out Marco Andretti. Marco got a good run on him coming out of one of the right handers, stayed to the right, and as they approached the next left, Cheever cut to the outside, right into Andretti. They were exactly side-by-side when it happened, and it sent Andretti into the wall. ---

I cought that, looked pretty shady, his excuse was his tires were cold. I didn’t buy that but the danica thing seems like it wasn’t anyones fault. She probably had her mind on doing the dishes or cleaning the kitchen 🙂 ---

I was at the Glen Saturday, for the qualifying and Rolex 6 hour race… It was a blast. ---

That was the first IRL race I have watched in years, and it will be the last. Not even the joy of turning left AND right could get me into IRL. The Rolex series is not much better with all the contact lately and the near identical cars, but the enduros are ok. F1, CART, SWC, ALMS \> IRL, Rolex. ---

me neither… so i drive to the glen after i went to STPR. all this serious Motorsports action isnt that far away. ---
