# Is amber out...clear in?

So I will most likely be picking up new headlights for the S2K. I have 2 options, AP2 with amber urns or AP2 with clear turns. Its seems like the newer cars no longer have amber. So I want to go clear BUT, for some reason I like the way amber looks against a black body…then I like the clear.
Another thing I will be doing is upgrading the projector and lens for a more crisp cutoff. While I’m in there I will be replacing the turn signal with LED and…I’m thinking of installing SMD LED’s for a “Audi” look
What do you think?
Eventually upgrading the front bumper to AP2 too

Normally I would say clear but I have to agree the amber looks really good on black.

Go with Amber. Don’t do SMD LEDs, that’s so fucking gay on a non-audi car. It’s going to be the new “altezza”.

Now that I look at other head lights with SMDs I think it will look tacky when not in use(since they are just stick on) but if done properly (drill and wire up LED) I think it will look nice.
Black with amber and LED (though I dont like how it curves up)
Quick edit in paint without the curving up of the LEDs
This is WAY over the top - LED and halos

can’t you get smoked? smoked \> amber \> clear on a black s2k. and don’t get the LEDS, they look horrible on an S2k.
