Trade in a vehicle with no emissions equip? Will they even take the car? (mine) Can you get into any trouble when they realize that ALL the emissions equip is gone?

So if they look, they wont even take it? Can’t they just turn around and toss it off as-is or auction it to make their profit? Im going to check out a 03 cobra out mccrackin today. Im gonna check out the car, try to talk them down, and then see if they can take this 99Z off my hands. If they dont take the camaro, I can’t put my ass in the cobra.
I can’t remember what I owe on the Z, but its ballpark 10k.

Terminator \> Z28, correct.
Just got back from checking it out (cobra). I am NOT getting it. They want $29,900 and they wont even move on the price. I guess they think thats the only one in PA.
Its bone stock as far as I could tell. 14k on the odo. Built on 11/8/02 which means it will probably have the “tick”. Had a hard time starting, possibly the battery. Coughed up a puff of smoke but didn’t see it in time to catch the color. The underside of the hood is all tore up, you know, the hood “blanket”. Interior wasn’t bad.
Bottom line, something didn’t seem right with the car. Definitly NOT worth $29k. If they would of came down to 24-25 I would of considered.
Maybe I’ll just take a loan out for a procharger setup for the Z28.

There is a red 2003 cobra at schults ford in Allison Park. I think they want $25000 for it. I could stop by and take a closer look it you want.
