HEY GUYS, I JUST DID A SR SWAP, BUT I AM WOUNDERING IF THE SR WIRING HARNESS HAS THE SAME MAF PLUG AS THE KA24DE. ?? AS THE MAF I PURCHASED WHICH WAS “SUPPOSED” TO BE A SR MAF DOES NOT PLUG INTO MY SR20 WIRING HARNESS. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS SAMI ---

My SR Maf plug is the same as the one that was on my ka23DE, could i have possibly purchased the wrong wiring harness then? although, everything else seems to be ok with the sr wiring harness and colours match the sr wiring harness instructions. ---

SR MAF plug will not connect to KA24E (SINGLE CAM) MAF, i had to cut my plug from ka24e harness and wire it to sr20 harness KA24DE (Dual Cam) MAF will NOT WORK on SR20 KA24E (SINGLE Cam) MAF WILL WORK on SR20 ---

is there anyone who would be willing to come to my shop in burlington to take a look at my swap and see what i am doing wrong, the engine is in and the wiring is done, but i need someone with experiance to look into this maf situation and help me get this thing to start. I have a audio/video and Autoglass shop in burlington and am willing to trade my labour for some help. ---

so right now i have a 4 pin maf plug on the harness, but my maf only has 3 pins… which one should i be using? ---

3 pin is a ka24E maf, 4 pin is a sr20 maf. both maf’s only use 3 pins, however the sr connector has 4 slots on it. If your maf is a 3 pin it is most likely a ka24e maf, you need the wiring and the connector from a ka24e. You basically need to cut the wires for the sr maf and wire in the ka maf wires you would get from another harness. Not all that hard. considering its 3 wires, some trial and error and your good. ---

Fuck man I never knew the maf was from a ka24e never bothered checking it cuz it worked fine on my motor… if you want your $50 back let me know…
