i say we call the new section for shennanigans “mancave518” for obvious reasons, set it up so that only people who want to participate in it can access it, and anyone who doesnt want to, won’t even see it, that way it wont destroy the more serious/informational parts of the forum.

100% agree.
and the last part is exactly what I have been saying for a while too. Put the ability for the members to keep the “chruch” sections clean, based on Shift 518 showing them respect as a memember and giving them a free for all section… in hopes that the members show Shift 518 respect by getting that ability/section and keeping the rest of the fourm clean.
we arent children, I have NO DOUBT anyone here that has a screen name and I personally know outside Shift could adhear to that.

The ManCave name would make Vlads blood boil so that’s probably not a good idea lol.
Like I said before, none of this is my place to say. Vlad owns Shift, he has the final say on what happens, right or wrong in the entire forums eyes, or right just in his.

I’ve seen maybe a handful of posts Benny posted that were ok and respectfully funny and it’s ok to you because your his friend and thinks its ok but to someone else who dosent know Benny and he lashes out on them in his own colorful way, well that’s just not ok to give him or anyone else the “oh it’s just how he is” get out of jail free card. Fuck that I wasted years being friends with a guy that was eclxacly like that and that was my excuse to myself that’s just so and so that’s how he is, fuck that if you can’t reciprocate and be a half decent human being then I don’t need to waste my fucking time doing shit for you ( and that’s how I believe vlad is feeling at this point)

which is why it should be left to Moderator vote. Hes a mod as much as an owner, his vote counts just as much or as little as ours does.

its not member owned, but it has mods that should be doing their job ( and hopefully we will be revamping the rules and “setting them in stone” very soon,) if you cant do your job as a mod please step down and let someone who will ( im not directing this at you kbb at all just saying in general) i understand you not getting “paid” directly for doing it but like keeping your neighborhood clean its a good feeling to know that you dont have to walk out your house and see a buch of garbage laying around or idiots just frolicking around causing trouble ( white black yellow green purple color or race dosent matter)

part of being an owner (in anything thats not a owned AND run buy one single person) is allowing for transparent membership organization. Doesn’t matter if the members pay the bills or not. The organization must be coherent and be done in the sites best interest, not the owners best interest. It’s up to the owner to relinquish power to the people they feel are up to the task, and they are comfortable putting THEIR NAME OVER THOSE MEMBERS ACTIONS. That last part is the true meaning of a good owner/operator.
in other words, the owner can and should have the EASIEST JOB there is. Pay a bill & “hire” people to do the work for them. All he has to do is find people that can and WILL do his job “if it were run by a single person” for him.

Ben is probably one of the nicest members on this forum. Not being sarcastic. Again, not everyone acts the same or comes across like you think they will, in person or online.
I’ve had a few people who are complete duck heads on line and even more of a herb in person.

I don’t go around making fun of people just for fun or to make myself feel better online. 90% of my posts are intended to entertain, and if someone is too god damn stupid to figure out that the ridiculous shit they just read is not to be taken seriously, I will be the first to let them know.
I’m not just blind to the way I come off online lol, and I’m aware of how someone might view me and I don’t think it’s as a threat or someone who will just belittle them.
They would probably just take me for a clown with way too many god damn posts. I know this because of the looks I get when people who are aware of this site give me when they figure out who I am. Usually it’s met with a laugh.
