Looks pretty good to me… but you may want to check out what it weighs. I’ve got a laptop with a 15.4" screen and similar specs, and I’ve got to say that I wish I would have gone with something a little smaller (14.1" screen). Between the size and the weight it makes me not want to take it places, kind of defeating the purpose of it.

If the laptop is just going between work and home, I wouldn’t worry about size too much. If you were doing heavy travelling with it, then I would say that size is a concern.

It looks like a good deal. I like that it comes with 2GB of memory. Usually they try to skimp on the RAM and the machine performs like shit because of it.

the specs are fine. I would check with the weight, but as long as its just to and from the car it wont be a big deal. If she has to walk a long way to get places or take a train/bus to work then it should be plenty portable.

the 15.4" screen will be more readable as well.

1 Year Basic Limited Warranty6 plus 1 Year Mail-in Service

Seriously. The most imporant fucking thing with a laptop is the mother fucking warranty.

Yeah, that’s a good laptop. Had one for about 3 days. Don’t worry, I returned it for the 1400 because of the size, not functionality.

You can pick up 4gb of ram for like $80 online if you watch for it and it’s easy to upgrade it. That’s what i didn. What battery did you get? i have the 9 cell and GF has the 6 cell and they last about as long as stated. I’ve consistently gotten 6-7 hrs on my 9 cell, which is awesome.

the battery will be dead in a year anyways. you will have to buy a new one, the new one will last way longer.
