Figured it had to be somewhere else with the horrible chats. Though once I got transferred around a few times in chat it seemed better, so I am sure at some point someone in the US is taking care of chats.

I live on Mineral Springs Rd on the corner of Bangel, I’m in the same area, I went FIOS b/c I get what I pay for now. It was nearing the point @ peak hours when kids were getting home from school @ 3pm, and fggts jerkin’ it after work @ 5 I couldn’t even stream a youtube video… Not sure if it was the area but \< single digit speeds was out of control. at best 3-4up, .5down (yes 1/2, .5) My bill went up \<$10 a month and got DVR’s and multiple boxes when before I only had one.

My speed actually went up recently. I have the standard package, it used to be 10/1, now its 15/1…

I think the indian church office is closed, they now redirect you to their “state of art” office in appletree.
There are only 3 d2 packages, lite, standard (10/1) and turbo (15/2) you get powerboost, which makes any speedtest _look_ very nice.
As far as HDDVR, SA was bought out by cisco, so we should see more reliable boxes coming soon. TW now has whole house DVR, 1TB storage that can be played on any box in the house similiar to the gay DTV commercials.
If you are paying near $200/mo, i’d suggest looking into signature series, its a flat $200, for wideband, whole house dvr with 1 or 2 boxes and phone.
Home alarms are now being tested with SMC, its actually pretty decent, everything is wireless, remote disarm/arm, you can add widgets on the main panel, and all kinds of neat shat.

My current HDDVR box is made by cisco and might be a bigger POS then my previous SA box. Atleast when I have to unplug and reboot the dumb thing it only takes a minute or two to do its shit as opposed to the 5 plus the SA boxes need.
