First off, please keep comments about the following subject out of my build thread, as I’d like to remain a ongoing, positive diary about me, my dad, and our car. I looked forward to yesterday for months. There were times that I thought it would never come due to my father not being able to go. He got out of the hosp Friday, and we went yesterday. My mother died when we were at the track. -T ---

ya cant beat yourself up for not being there bro , i did for yrs with my parents your one person and cant do it all like u have been . mom survived long enough to know that u and dad made it to your goal . she is in a better place and i know people say it anytime a loved one passes and i also hated it when told that but its true man . she isnt in pain anymore . your a friend of mine kid and if ya need me to ill head north when i can to help ya sort shit out , i know i have said it before but im serious now . ---

Im sorry, Travis. I know that they both have a lot of medical complications but, im sure your mother knowing you and your father wouldnt of wanted anything else but you guys to be out doing what you loved. Takes a good man to provide around the clock care for his parents and live at home at your age to help them. Most just dump them into elderly homes. Again, sorry for your loss man. Im not a religious type but, im sure she is in a better place. ---

Sorry to hear man, I know you’ve really taken on a lot with your parents as of late, and I know how draining it can be. Having recently lost my mom (and my dad a few years prior) I know what you’re going through and its not easy. Keep your head up and take care of your dad, can’t even imagine what it must be like to lose someone after 40 years. ---
