Its never a done deal until ur driving it. ---

I’d like to see a modern re-interpretation of the 67 just to see what it would look like. Mini-fender humps, short overhangs, vinyl roof, round headlights, oval grille. It might be neat, but it’s definitely not the F-body of today. I would just like to compare what that car is to the modern f-body as the new 2005 mustang is to the previous generation mustang. You even get to rate’em! i agree that th car would be awesome if it does look that way (and like every concept ive seen is pretymuch a 1st gen remake) but like i said, its already been done by ford and i think its cool for a one-shot thing, but if they r gonna keep it alive and make changes (continue more generations) where do you go from there? if the 5th gen is a 67 re-make, then how do u style the 6th gen? a 72 remake? just seems like its a step backwards. does anyone else agree or does everyone like the idea of the retro? ---

I agree with you, and I’m even a first gen owner. Retro isn’t the sure bet some people think it is, I give you the SSR (yes it was originally over priced and under powered) and the Thunderbird (same thing). Even VW Beetle sales started to go down after the novelty wore off. What then - which is exactly what you are saying. Some hints at previous generations, fine, but I’d rather see something a little more current. ---

Drivetrain Specs as of right now: Base- 3.9L V6 240hp SS- 5.3L V8 LS4 with DOD (displacement on demand). 310hp Z/28- 6.0L V8 LS2 400hp All models will have options of 5spd Auto or 6psd Manual ---
