It was a terrible event for a lot of people but as someone who was not really effected by this except for the patriot act and various other things I have to say this is very very true.
I was 15 so I remember it pretty vividly but I think people in middle school and under at the time will have a hard time figuring out why such a big deal.

I was 12. I understood then, and still do that it was a horrific event. Alot of innocent people who didn’t deserve to die lost it and im sorry for the familes that suffered. The firefighters that lost their lives are heroes.
But its like everything else in the past, its history.
People don’t talk much about Pearl Harbor either.

and its not just about the twin towers, also remember the pentagon and flight 93. I personally know that I will always remember 9/11 no matter how old I am and what I was doing, where I was at the time I found out about it.
