A cult can be many things, what one chooses to believe is their own choice. Any group can be personified as a cult depending on how you look at things. But sometimes people need more than just science to rely on, myself included.
That said that picture made me almost fall out of my seat regardless. :lol:

I grew up in a strongly Catholic family.
The pic is kinda funny. I am not offended by it, but I don’t think I could bring myself to do that. Ahhh good old Catholic guilt. It’s why I still go to church…on Christmas.

Why do you let it bother you?
I think it’s good to keep some separation and not let religion run your life every second of the day. Fanatics are why buildings get planes flown into them and people drink the poison Kool-Aid.

The first pic didn’t really bother me. I chuckled a little. It was cute. A bit irreverent to me, but cute. I can’t expect everyone to be respectful of something I choose to hold in reverence, so whatever.
What I guess worries me is all the anti-religion sentiments I see coming from so many intelligent young people who are ignorant to the difference between religion and church. It’s fine to disagree with church policies. There are some that I disagree with too. But come on. Don’t go denouncing all religious teachings because of church policies that you disagree with. ☹
