> A **Christian** is a follower of [Jesus of Nazareth](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus), referred to as the [Christ](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ). Christians believe Jesus to be the [Son of](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son_of_God) [God](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God), who lived a life befitting that of the [creator of the universe](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creator_deity), free of [sin](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sin) and full of [love](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love), who at the end of his earthly life was [crucified](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crucifixion), and then on the third day, [rose from the dead](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_and_Resurrection_of_Jesus), and later [ascended](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascension) into heaven.

Chrisitianity is just the beleif in christ being our savior, a cult can be a chirstian faith
