Nope. So when someone asks the top foreign diplomat from the US what her husband, who hasn’t held office in over 8 years, thinks of a current issue, the only proper response is to show the audience that that question was all sorts of inappropriate. Women in that part of the world are expected to have a dignified response to being fucking raped. Seriously, it’s practically looked at as a man’s right. If she were to show any tolerance for being undermined as a woman it would blow the whole purpose of her trip out of the water. ---

Keep in mind that Kinshasa is AIDS ground zero. Seriously. First documented HIV infection was there in 1959. Then the virus traveled across Africa down the Kinshasa highway and out into the world. Not ideal sex tourism background. ---

I think she had a good response because that is exactly what needed to be said, however the delivery of that repsonse could have been a little better and a little less “ghetto-chic”. ---
