The smoking ban is great. I was in Europe this past November and you can still smoke freely in their bars and restaurants. It was fucking torture. ---

went to a bar in NF that allows smoking still (illegally) and its not so much the smoking that bothers me as far as breathing, its that I hate that my clothes reek of the stuff the next day, or if its my coat, for several days ---

I’m a smoker and I’ll be the first one to say I hate being in a room filled with smoke. It makes your eyes burn, dries out your throat, makes you caugh more…and is generaly annoying. I don’t really like smoking inside. I have cut down a great deal though. I wen’t from 2 packs a day to 8-10 smokes a day if that. I have 1 pack left and then I am hopefully done for good this time. I used to smoke Camel Filters (which are like one of the strongest you can get), I would open a pack at 7am and be on my next pack by 1pm. then I started cutting down and switching to weaker strengths to ween myself off. I have tried quitting cold turkey a few times. didn’t work. So I am trying it this way. The way I see it, if I am more used to smokes with less niccotine, the cravings wont be nearly as bad as when I was a heavy smoker.
