They take longer to get hot (stickey) since they are made to last doing several 20-30 min sessions on end. The Hoosier A6’s are the softer compound since they are for autox and don’t have to work nearly as long, however they have to be sticky right off the bat since they don’t have much time to warm up. Even taking lots of air outta them might not get the same effect as a purpose built drag tire.
