# Jae's 97 Eclipse GSX. project FTL

To start off, its a DSM.  
everyone knows DSMs are love or hate thing but ive been hooked ever since i got into cars.  
ive learned ALOT about cars from fixing this sucker up  
the previous owner never took care of it as you will see in the pictures later but i spent alot of money and time on it. its starting to come together.  
97 Eclipse GSX - multi yellow with black wheels  
List of Modifications:  
-rebuilt 1g 7bolt  
-E3 16G  
-Intake/Filter  
-2.5" hard pipes  
-Greddy Type-s bov  
-Greddy profec-b EBC  
-TiAL 38mm external wastegate  
-Punishment racing o2 housing w/dump tube  
-Unknown eBay exhaust(focuz or something) no cats  
-EGR blockoff  
-1g intake manifold  
-1g TB  
-6k HIDs  
-braided SS lines(oil/clutch)  
-ACT 2600  
-Punishment racing Aluminium Radiator w/2 slimline fans  
-Samco Rad. hose  
-235/45/17 Kumho SPT  
-slotted/drilled rotors  
-Hawk HPS pads  
…list goes on

99% of the people on here will bash on my car just because of its platform but i could care less :lol  
this is my second DSM and im picking up another one this week.

why the Tial on an evo3 16g? just want the noise? the stock wastegate is more the adequate

What was the fastest this car ran at LVD? Was it consistent?

well it would be if tony put a real evo 16g. Ebay internal wastegates are not so reliable, its holding boost deceint now.

i had this thing at the mitsu dealer fixin all the shit that was cobbed in it and the exhaust i/c piping boost leaks and he took it and fucked it up more if i remeber right

Joe Gigs aka “Porschemaster” was the primary mechanic if I remember correctly.
