It would be a different story if they were going to rebuild it anyways. Also, i’d be pissed too if i saved up 1500 and i bought a blown motor that i have no money to do anything with. Most of the stories I’ve learend about japan star are horrible… Conditions the engines are kept in etc… Theres a lot of webistes that sell JDM motors and hardly anyone has gotten a bad motor, and if they did theyre generaly pretty good about fixing the problem… A lot of places compression test at the very least to make sure its good before selling. Japan star is over priced IMO… I reemmber a few people saying a Redtop SR20 from them is about 2000 bucks?
