I see S13’s go for a fair amount of amount of money… 7-9K I dont have a car yet so im shopping around… is it worth it? SR20 stock and rust free for the extra money… How much would a S14 be worth? I know its not 15 years old but it was be nice to be able to plate a JDM S14 and drive it legally. ---

i remember i went to sum engine shop, i was looking for a front clip, and they had a s14 silvia straight from japan, with a bone stock sr20 blacktop for $9000, he would of sold it that day for $8000, if i took it than lol. ---

i just bought a ca18det 180sx in that range and i enjoy every minute of it. def worth it in my opinion. ---

i’m in a process of settling down with a imported red silvia s13, with a redtop. I would pay the extra money, for the RHD, SR engine and a rustless chassis (importing). Less work to get a good condition then SR it if you don’t have much connections with shops and people that help you. you are just wasting money. I want to import cause i just don’t have time to do engine swaps, body work …etc. ---

I think it’s worth it… no need to do an engine swap, rustless chassis, fairly low mileage etc… it’s an extra 3-4 grand for all that… ---

100% worth it in every way. It maybe annoying some people say for the first few days, but ocne you get the hang of it, its all good. Low km, fairly rustless (nothing 17 years old is rustless), high maintenance keep-up (mandatory in Japan), swap FACTORY done, and sometimes fun JDM-tyte parts. If you look in all the right places and talk to all the right people, you can find a 180sx delivered to TO and GST paid in the 7k range. Matty, when did you pick up a 180sx… i thought you were looking for a truck or something? ---

not enough tuners around these parts to know. just a handful and i dont talk to any of them. and no, you cant be my friend. long distance relationships just dont work out in this modern age. back on topic, its def worth it. for the extra monye, you would spend that anyways in a swap and to find a clean chassis or to repair one. ---

I know its def worth it… but the question is… how much is it worth?? if you had a S14 plated and needed cash… how much would you sell it for? ---

Why do you keep going back to the s14. Its not legal so its a hard question to awnser. Looking at 180sx’s, for a nice clean relatively stock one your looking at anywhere between 7-10k. ---
