is it the sequential gear box by hks, or just the hks 6 spd gearing in a normal gear box… ---

nm, just did some quick reasearch and how can you tell its an hks modified hollinger unit? ill post pics asap this thing is banana’s! varun, its not sequential, just a 6 speed it has hks branded in cast all over it, and i crfossed the part number, its listed on hks’s website under their sr20det section as just s15 6 speed transmission - retail price - too much lol ---

as far as i know, hks doesnt produce their own trannies from scratch im pretty sure they come from hollinger… i dont know if hollinger makes it to hks’ spec or if hks modify it themselves or whatever… straight cut gears means the teeth engage straight on immediately, they dont slide together progressively like helical gears (which is what all modern car trannies use) straight cut gears introduce less loss and also keep the load in one direction, helping extend bearing life when you hear that loud ass whine in a racing car (that a lot of noobs claim to be a supercharger) it’s the sound of straight cut gears ---

i bet u that thing has some insane gear ratios on the top end … judging by the huge turbo, im asuming the 4,5,6 would be very tall gears to make bumhole raping on the highways…i liiiiike… ---

pm me if your serious im refusing your offer, but we can talk and your right varun, but i couldnt let it go for that little a guy on a skyline club just sold a second hand one for 3500 lbs i wont sell mine for nearly that much, but ill be advertising it EVERYWHERE ill give ebay a shot too eventually it retails for $10,400 from hks as a result of selling this seperate, ill be selling a near complete s15 built motor for dirt cheap ---

type in hks 6 speed transmission or hks dogbox into google info will come up also guys, im gunna birng it to a tranny shop in st catharines to have everytihng inspected, make sure its in good shape that will help to determine price ---
