I have already had to take steps to prepare for the future, that I hope dosen’t happen. Which is the push for the public option in the health-care overhaul. All of my employees are valuable. But they each have their own level of importance to the company. For 1st level employees, drivers, secretarial etc. I have already moved my company to a non-traditional employment technique (should the bill pass), to combat the “forced” health-care I will need to provide each employee with. Basically, I switch my employees from employees of my company, to subcontracted labor, in which each employee is hired on a contractual basis, independent from my company. I will save on insurance, health, and tax costs. The only difference is that they will now have to claim income on a 1099 form. This bullshit push by the government is going to hurt the employees more than the employer. ---

I didn’t read every post but there is a difference between ILLEGAL immigrants, and LEGAL immigrants (obviously). My family were legal. We worked, payed taxes, etc. like everyon else. And all of us make over $40k/year now (my two brothers, my father, and myself). The culprits are: The voters (who vote for the pro-open border immigration politicians), the employers (who hire illegals knowing they are illegal), and the illegal himself (for trying to pull a fast one). I suggest the following: A FEDERAL law mandating that any and all immigrants allowed to enter this country (meaning those with paperwork) MUST get a ‘on the table’ (not under) job within a certain time period. This would increase at least some of the tax revenue generated for this country. (this won’t help with the people who sneak over the borders still) ---

yea adam +1 buddy its getting so bad its to the point people have to start doing and saying whats going on. we cant just sit idly by and let scumbags ruin the working class. i dont wanna kill myself but i might go drive through arbor hill poppin off some rounds… for the haters i lived in arbor hill and trust me they all have nice cars and DONT WORK!!! ---
