Oh the other hand, I’m fine with friends that smoke weed, however I prefer that it’s not on their person while traveling.

i hope you never had any alcohol since you’ve grown up…as it was once illegal, and the effects are worse than marijuana.

I don’t think you understand his point. The fact that it _was_ illegal is a mute point.
and the whole “people should be able to do what they want to themselves” is really stupid. I once passed a guy going 70 on 90 who was steering with his knees and lighting a piece… when you do stupid things you put other people at risk. You can’t ignore that fact.

if you want to get technical, look at all the DWI cases we have in the United States, and all the people that died from cigarettes…

your not using reason here…
DWIs were given out to people who could not follow the law and endangered other people.
Cigarette laws now prevent you from “endangering” other people… no smoking in restaurants etc.
I will concede that if pot was made legal lots of similar laws would be put in place for it, but right now there are none and plenty of people who smoke are wreckless with it and endanger other people.
and I’m not your chief, bud.
