# joke of the day: $500 ethernet cable!

why are they advertising an ethernet cable as an audio cable? I like the design, but $500??!?! Kiss my dick

They’re not advertising it as an audio cable, they’re advertising it to audiophools.

they said you can use the cable to link up a DVD player to an audio receiver.

Sounds to me like they have some sort of system that allows you to link up their products and that this is the required cable.

They probably just did some weird pattern on the pins and dubbed it ‘proprietary’

Thank God! Finally a high purity copper cable with baby white tiger pubes insulation for a digital signal! No more regular PVC jacketed cables puking zeros and ones all over the place!
