it clearly saiys with acvs not working. i alreay posted why with acvs not working you have the cam in full retard.

you cant compare acvs not working to it working.

Mikey said it’ll crack 400whp the way it sits but the stock head studs would be pushed way past their comfort zone, so until I do some studs I’ll leave it where it is. It’s an absolute blast on the street and pulls strong all the way to 8500. As I expected I don’t spool until 5k.

looks like i was correct too. 5k spool and stop making power at 7200

Again let me know when you finish your build, if my car is still on the road I would be happy to do a pull.

Stock location 3076, on an EJ series 2.0. It’s dead on where it should be.

Keep in mind this is a dyno that stock sti’s struggle to put down 220 on, baseline wrx’s are in the mid to high 100’s.

yea im familiar with mustang dynos… with 360+ on a mustang should trap at the very least 115 if not closer to 120.

My goal was to break 11’s, I’m hoping it’ll take my deeper into it than I expected.

They absolutely would, these things are tanks. The problem is I don’t think the TE37’s will be much lighter due to the size, and three sets of wheels is out of the budget, but I totally agree.

I don’t think it’ll have much of an effect, and it weighs about ten pounds. If it made a hundredth of a second difference I could adjust it a bit.

I can see where pitman is coming from, but again they’re two completely different builds. While I’ll agree that a 20g is optimal on a low rpm street 2.0, you would need to push that turbo way over the limit to keep up with what my 30 is doing on a mild tune. I can’t imagine a 20g is going to be very happy at 30psi, which is what it’s going to take to keep up.

my 16g was pretty happy spiking 35psi pretty much all summer, turbo is still in mint shape.

pushing smaller turbos harder create a way better and more responsive in general which leads to a more fun car IMO. 440 ft/lb @ 3500rpm was pretty violent

I agree that that sounds like a blast to drive, but in my world pushing a 16g remotely close to 30 psi is absolutely unreasonable. Pull up any 16g-20g compressor map and tell me that it looks efficient at 30+ psi. I’m all about picking the right tool for the job, and anyone with a 207 will tell you that a 3076 is one of the ultimate turbos for that engine.
