# Jordan Vs. Kobe \*Vid inside\*

Cool video.
I think it’s impossible to say which is better.
Defensively Michael was better. Michael didn’t develop an outside game till his career was half over, while Kobe has been lighting it up from all spots on the floor since he came into the league out of highschool. Kobe had Shaq and that’s it… Michael had a better supporting cast in Pippen, Kukoc, Rodman, Grant, random white guard with 3 point skills. Michael’s conference was generally weak with the exception being the Pistons and occasionally the Knicks. Kobe’s conference has always been stacked, with Phoenix, San Antonio, etc.
It’s really a tough call. Who would I prefer to have on my team? Well today, Kobe, since Michael is pretty old now. At their primes? Who knows.

very good points…but in their primes, MJ hands down IMO

lol i read nyspeed everyday and just enjoy reading the critism, i find it hilarious
anywho… I’m not much into basketball, vid was cool, they do seem pretty equal based on style, both fun to watch play

I’m sure if you asked Michael, he’d say Kobe is better, or Magic, or Larry, or Dr. J, The Iceman, Cousy.
I’d like to hear why Kobe is so easily dismissed as not being as good as Michael. I’m not convinced which is better, but I’d say it’s pretty close. Michael’s defense alone was incredible, and while he hit a lot of big shots, he also did miss a good amount too. Kobe on the other hand always seems to be on fire.
