Well Nikfuk, “sealed” when used to describe a fireplace, typically means that combustion air is drawn from outside the house. In my case it is not. The front of my fireplace is a pair of sliding glass doors, preventing me from punting a dog into them. Beneath the glass doors is a metal vent that allows combustion air to enter the fireplace from the house. ---

fry you need a fireplace insert. my dad got one a few years back. makes the whole living room/family room/ kitchen area toasty for cheap :tup: and where the fuck is the tap room? you guys need to hang out in the city at least so i can come drink damnit ---

So no my fireplace is not sealed. Yes there are glass doors preventing dogs from going in and sparks from coming out. ---

There are also 2 vents running along either side of it. Cold air inlet on the bottom, warm air discharge on the Wait. Beer thread. Tap room is in the Mighty Taco plaza on Eggert/Sheridan/NFB in Tonawanda. ---
