Can’t remember the name…I just thumbed threw the Penny Saver and made a few calls, they came out that same day with the flatbed. I’ve done this with 3 cars now.

Junked my prizm earlier this year, idk how much it was in monetary value but we signed it over to our garage and they didn’t charge us for the tow they gave it(towed off the highway from some certified company in Leroy, then they towed it back to Pittsford), the “diagnosis”, the price check for a new motor, and they gave us a discount on the car we bought from them immediately afterwards. I’m fairly sure they took a slight loss but only because the owner is a family friend.

Junked my girlfriends Maxima down here on the island. Got $300 for it. Seemed to be the standard price for a mid 90’s sedan. I imagine it should be similar up by you guys.

Twin Village Recycling will take anything. If you can trailer it in cram it full of as much metal as possible. You can call to get the scrap rate for that day. Usally 100-150 depending on how much weight you can add.

Twin Village wont take cars without titles though, or at least thats what they told me. There are some places who dont need titles though for for your info.

if you dont have a title, just cut it up in small bits 🙂 and bring to a scrap yard

Twin Village will take cars without a title. Photo copy your license, write down the VIN, make, model, year on a piece of paper and sign your name.
Of course no one checks the VIN so all that info is worth the paper you write it on.

There are some new rules for yards in taking in junk vehicles with no title. They have to fill out a -Statement of Vehicle Owner Not Possessing a Valid Title (MV-35)
its not really new but is going to be enforced more strickly. There too many tow guys scraping stolen vehicles

Jared- what kind of car is it? I’ve taken them to Skyway w/no title, they usually just make you give them your license info in case it’s stolen.

:word: I got the same for my stealth shell, it had no wheels, tires, suspension ext.
