# Junkyards

Just curious if anyones been checking them out since the cash for clunkers deal started. I wouldnt mind finding out which yards are getting the majority to see if anything interesting pops up.

I thought all cash for clunkers cars were supposed to be crushed and destroyed?

no i believe junkyards can sell everything but the engine (since it gets destroyed anyways)

Well I hit up m&m and they have tons just waiting to be processed down the street at Marks. There was a 5.0 foxbody already in the yard with a really clean motor then I noticed the tag on the motor that its been seized. I also went to the LKQ and they had a few waiting to enter the yard. Probably in a few weeks the yards will be packed.
