the 5 speed stock can handle levels of over 700 hp as proven by tom from [www.focusfanatics.com](http://www.focusfanatics.com), the atx automatic transmission can handle as much horsepower as you want but anything more then 200lbs of torque and itll die, i reasearch a lot on my car lol
