# K03 turbo (stock audi 1.8t)

As the title states, I’m looking for a used k03 from a B5 A4/Passat 1.8t that is in full working order and will likely last 50k miles or so. Minimal to no shaft play is ideal. Local is preferred.  
I’m not interested in a k04 unless you’re willing to part with it for the same price as a used k03, which probably wouldn’t happen.

There’s a couple on audizine i’ve found for sale in the $200-range, but they are on the other side of the country and I’d much rather like to be able to inspect it before buying.

I’d have to run an external wastegate on that, or so the seller claims… and i don’t really know how to go about doing that. 😕

I have a good K03 43K miles on it for an 01 S4. I know they are not the same, but thought I might mention it.
