# KA24DE head removal

Hey all,

I can’t seem to figure out what the head bolts are. Is it a Hex, or a star? And what size is it, the FSM doesn’t say size, just torque specs. I know the SOHC was like a 14 er 15mm socket if IIRC, but the DOHC is different.

Someone help me out?

Practically all nuts are 10mm, on the DE anyways. Just something I’ve noticed. I think it’s that way for most cars though, so no biggie I guess.
