# Ka24e vs. Ka24de CAI

I was wondering if there was a difference between intakes for the two engines since I rarely see them for the Sohc engine. Is it possible to make a cold air intake for a ka24de fit onto a ka24e?

they do not fit…the part where they actually connect to the throttle body is completely different. The SOHC is straight and tilted up IIRC. And the DOHC goes on a pretty big angle downwards…just buy a cai for ur motor. or make one its easier imo. U can even make it to go where u battery is and have a shorter ram intake type of thing i dunno…They dont really do much anyways

You could just get a ebay one and K&N filter too.
